1. Quando si usano "There is" e "There are"?
In inglese, "there is" e "there are" si usano per dire che qualcosa esiste o si trova in un determinato luogo.
  • There is si usa con sostantivi singolari o non numerabili.
  • There are si usa con sostantivi plurali.

2. Struttura
Forma affermativa:
  • There is + sostantivo singolare/non numerabile.
    • There is a book on the table. (C’è un libro sul tavolo.)
    • There is water in the bottle. (C’è acqua nella bottiglia.)
  • There are + sostantivo plurale.
